Sporting Goods Sales Grew Over 4% Last Year, SFIA Finds

Total sports equipment, apparel, licensed merchandise and footwear sales hit $121,660 million in 2023, up 4.2% over the prior year and 27% over 2019, according to Sports & Fitness Industry Association’s 2024 Manufacturers’ Sales by Category Report.

National Park recreational visits increased by 1% year-over-year to 22,395,024 from 22,215,789 in March, while year-to-date visits are now down 5% at 48,464,341 compared to 50,748,155.
