Acushnet Guides for Mid-Singles Sales and Profit Gains


The Titleist and Footjoy parent’s net income attributable to shareholders slipped 6% on rising costs, tallying $87,762,000 against $93,275,000 in the seasonally important first quarter. Revenues increased 3% to $707,554,000 from $686,290,000, as strong hardgoods sales more than offset declines in gear and apparel. The U.S. market drove top line gains, improving 13% to $418.2 million, including 21% higher club revenues, a 16% increase in balls, and 14% higher gear sales.
