Net income crashed 93% in the Japanese distributor and equipment maker’s fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, to just ¥152 million ($1.0 mm), from ¥2,102 million, on sales that were up 6% to ¥13,469 million ($90.0 mm) from ¥12,713 million.
