Varsity Brands Settles Class Action over Cheer Monopoly
Varsity Brands and two of its affiliated entities have agreed to pay $43.5 million to settle a class action suit over their dominance of cheerleading apparel and events. The suit was filed in 2020, accusing the company and the U.S. All Star Federation of collaborating together to monopolize the cheer competition and apparel market.
