The red ink deepened at the recycled and synthetic yarn maker to $19,846,000 in the fiscal second quarter ended Dec. 31 from a loss of $18,037,000 last year, on 1% higher revenues of $136,917,000 from $136,212,000. Sales volumes were higher but offset by lower pricing in response to lower raw material costs. Repreve accounted for 33% of sales, compared to 31% last year.
