Thule Profit Narrows in Q2 with Quad Lock Leading Sales Growth


Net income contracted 8% to SEK 512 million ($52.9 mm) in the second quarter from SEK 559 million, as soaring SG&A more than offset a 10% increase in sales to SEK 3,403 million ($351.9 mm) from SEK 3,099 million. Quad Lock incremental sales accounted for 14% of the growth, while organic sales increased 2%. However, currency headwinds from the weakening dollar pushed reported revenues down 6%.
