Teen Survey Finds Hoka, On, and New Balance Gaining Share
Nike maintained its dominance in the Spring ‘24 edition of Piper Sandler’s Taking Stock with Teens survey, though this season’s report marked the first in several years where the Swoosh lost ground as Hoka, On Running, and New Balance continue to pick up teens’ mindshare in athletic footwear. Overall, teen self-reported spending was down 6% year-over-year to $2,263, up 1% sequentially, implying total spend of $63 billion for the year.
