Taiwanese Fitness Company Dyaco Opens E-Bike Factory


The equipment maker, which owns the Sole, Spirit, Xterra, and Johnny G fitness brands, is opening a new e-bike factory in Taichung’s Dajia district covering 145,000-sq.-ft. with an annual capacity of 100,000 units. Two years ago, Dyaco first entered the category by taking over a facility from ODM and OEM manufacturer Iuvoin the same region. Built at a cost of $27 million, the added capacity will help diversify Dyaco’s assortment away from its winter-heavy (indoor) fitness equipment business with global e-bike sales in summer.
