Sporting Goods Sales Show Strong Growth in Nov.
Seasonally adjusted sales of sporting goods, hobby, music and book stores grew 0.28% month-over-month and by 8.96% year-over-year unadjusted according to the CNBC/NRF Retail Monitor. Total seasonally adjusted retail sales, excluding automobile dealers and gasoline stations, were up 0.12% in Nov., month over month, and were up 4.53% unadjusted year over year.
