Sneaker imports ticked higher in the June quarter, but apparel and equipment were slightly lower year-on-year, resulting in total imports increasing 0.7% to $5,649.8 million from $5,608.3 million. Interestingly, total imports have returned to just about the same levels as in 2019, before plunging in the pandemic year, then soaring in 2021 and 2022.
