Having just disposed of its successful but non-core Helly Hansen brand to Kontoor, Canadian Tire has launched its “True North” growth strategy to refocus on retail operations. A key component of the plan is a greater emphasis on the Triangle Rewards loyalty system across its Canadian Tire, SportChek, and Mark’s banners, and a past leader of that program, Susan O’Brien, has been named EVP & chief transformation officer.
