Net income slipped 23% to $5,279,000 from $6,827,000 on sales that were down 9% to $114,554,000 from $125,614,000 as unfavorable weather impacted the outdoor segment and several military sales last year did not recur. Backing out the non-recurring items, sales were down 2%. By segment, wholesale was off 10% to $84 million, partially offset by retail growth of 12% to $26.8 million, highlighted by double-digit gains in Xtratuf and Durango e-commerce. Contract manufacturing improved to $3.6 million from $3.4 million.
