Fading stigma around secondhand shopping is fueling a new wave of online used product sales, according to OfferUp’s 2025 Recommerce Report. The resale market is expected to hit $228.6 billion this year and is on track to tally $306.5 billion by 2030, accounting for 8% of total retail spending and representing a 120% jump from $139.6 billion in 2020.
