Rebel Slips but SRG’s Outdoor Banners Improve
Rebel Sports sales were down 1% to A$1,291.6 million ($852.5 mm) from A$1,309.1 million for the fiscal year ended July 1 as comps dropped 2% on lower transaction volumes and lower ATV. Performance sports led categories on soccer and licensed apparel strength. Rebel introduced several new brands during the fiscal year, including Hoka, On, Muscle Nation, Frank Green and Lorna Jane.
