Puma Taps Arthur Hoeld as CEO, Succeeding Arne Freundt
Talent trading between the houses of Dassler continued as Puma has recruited Arthur Hoeld to take over as management board chairman and CEO, effective July 1, with current CEO Arne Freundt stepping down Apr. 11. Hoeld previously led global sales at Adidas until last Oct., first joining the Three Stripes in 1998. Freundt moved up to the big seat from chief commercial officer at the start of ‘23 after former CEO Bjorn Gulden crossed the Aurach river to join Adidas after a 14-year tenure with Puma.
