PTAB Kills Peloton Rival's Exercise Bike Patent Claims


In the latest legal battle between Peloton and Mad Dogg Athletics, the USPTO’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board invalidated several claims in a pair of Mad Dogg’s exercise bike patents. The PTAB’s 95-page ruling concludes that several claims of Mad Dogg’s patent no. 10,137,328, which is a continuation of patent no. 9,694,240 are obvious and therefore unpatentable.
