Robert “Rusty” Saunders, whose five-decade career in sporting goods carried him from product, to retail, to the sales agency that bore his name, passed away on Dec. 8. He was 88. After a short stint in banking, Saunders joined MacGregor-Brunswick Corporation, where he was instrumental in developing breakthrough products in golf, baseball, and football.
