No More Love for Active at Kohl’s


KSS’ new CEO, Tom Kingsbury revealed the mass merchant will make a hard pivot away from active and athletic in favor of a growing commitment to Sephora, a new partnership with Babies R Us, and the home, gifting and impulse categories. On Kohl’s Q4 earnings call, Kingsbury lamented that the footwear department is “primarily athletic” now, a problem that needs to be fixed.
