Nautilus Narrows Loss, Plans for Refreshed BowFlex
Fresh off the relaunch of its BowFlex brand, NLS tallied another difficult quarter, continuing to work down inventory in advance of new product launches planned for fall. Net loss for the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 was $4,924,000 against a loss of $60,177,000 last year that included a $27 million impairment charge. Revenues slid 24% to $41,750,000 from $54,817,000 on declines in both strength and cardio categories and direct and retail (wholesale) channels.
