Kohl’s Gets Sneaker Boost in Q2
Nike and Under Armour got a call out for leading a footwear sales trend improvement in a second quarter that saw comps down 5% for the mass merchant. Amidst the overall soft trends in activewear, Kohl’s is looking to build on recent success in outdoor and golf apparel and bring in newness from national partners. Along with the Nike and Under Armour’s success, outdoor offerings from Eddie Bauer were also a standout in the quarter.
