KMD Brands Maps Future as Q3 Sales Grow


Total sales grew 16% in the three months ended Apr. 23, with Rip Curl up 8%, Kathmandu increasing 11% and Oboz soaring 120%, the company reported ahead of its 2023 Investor Day. The group set out medium-term targets for growth, including growing the Kathmandu fleet in Australia and New Zealand to 200 stores and expanding the brand’s international sales to NZ$100 million ($63 mm) from just NZ$1.7 million presently.
