Johnson Outdoors’ Sales Pick Up Steam to Finish Year


Net loss narrowed 15% to $29,050,000 from a loss of $34,266,000 in the fiscal fourth quarter ended Oct. 3 on revenues that improved 28% to $135,762,000 from $105,874,000, as sales picked up in the second half after a slow start to the year. Fishing sales grew 39% to $101.1 million, but camping & watercraft recreation declined 13% to $11.9 million, while diving increased 17% to $22.8 million.
