JD Sports Will Expand North American Reach Further with Hibbett
The U.K.-based retailer, which will greatly increase its North American footprint when the $1.08 billion acquisition of Hibbett, Inc. is completed sometime in H2, increased its revenues on the continent by 8% to £3,413.5 million ($4,340.4mm) in the fiscal year ended Feb. 3 from £3,150.1 million prior. Constant-currency growth for its premium banners – JD/Finish Line, DTLR, and Shoe Palace –rose by 10% to £3,069.0 million ($3,902.3mm).
