JD Sports’ U.S. Business Pressured in Q3
The Finish Line and Hibbett parent said that North American sales softened in the third quarter ended Nov. 2, comping down 1.5%, though total organic revenues grew by 5.9% here. Demand from increasingly cautious consumers declined in the run-up to the election and was also impacted by unseasonably warm weather in Oct., leading to ramped-up promotions in the market.
