JD Sports Cuts Guidance after North America Weakens
Struggles at Finish Line pulled down JD’s North American revenues in the second quarter, with total organic sales across banners declining 4.5% to £1,070 million ($1,445.9 mm) and comps down 6.8%. Excluding the 145 remaining Finish Lines that have not been either shuttered or converted to the JD Sports nameplate, Q2 organic sales dipped just 1.0%.
