Hydro Flask and Osprey Help Helen of Troy in Down Quarter
Sales in the HELE’s Home & Outdoor segment, which includes Hydro Flask and Osprey Packs, increased 21% in the fiscal first quarter ended May 31 to $234,263,000 from $193,644,000. The newly acquired Osprey contributed $51.2 million in sales, of 27% of segment growth. This was partially offset by a 4% drop in organic sales, mainly in home-related categories as OXO faced tough comps.
