Net income at the owner of The North Face, Helly-Hansen, Canterbury, and other brands for Japan dipped 4% in the third quarter ended Dec. 31 to ¥9,830 million ($64.5 mm) from ¥10,251 million, as sales inched down 1% to ¥43,466 million ($285.2 mm) from ¥43,736 million in the company’s largest quarter seasonally.
