Branded athletic apparel sales broke out last year after several years of low-single-digit growth, rising 7.0% in 2025 to $130,333 million from $121,800 million and easily outpacing the sneaker market’s 3.1% increase. As with the athletic footwear market, the U.S. underperformed other regions, but still increased 5.2% to $53,657 million.
