Garmin Fitness Soars, Outdoor Also Improves


GMRN's Fitness segment outperformed with a 41% revenue improvement to $605,425,000 from $428,404,000 for the second quarter, resulting in an 84% jump in operating income to $197,630,000 over $107,610,000. Advanced wearables drove the top line, with its updated Forerunner series, and it also launched its first smart sleep band monitor during the quarter.
