Net income increased 17% to $456,734,000 from $389,919,000 in the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31 on a similar percentage gain in revenues to a new quarterly record $1,827,165,000 against $1,560,307,000. Direct-to-consumer sales increased 18% to $1,011.4 million, slightly outstripping wholesale, which grew 16% to $815.8 million. U.S. sales were up 12% to $1,169.3 billion, but growth was again led by international markets, where revenues jumped 29% to $657.9 million.
