CPSC Warns on Chinese Bike Helmets


The agency warned consumers to stop using two more brands of Chinese-made bike helmets that don’t comply with CPSC requirements for positional stability, labeling and certification. The affected helmets are Zacro brand, sold by Cyclingsell though its website cyclingsell.com, and Vera Natura brand from Tengingyue, which were sold at Walmart. Both companies have refused to formally recall the helmets, so the CPSC is asking consumers to stop using the helmets, cut the straps and dispose of them.
