Clarus’ Sales Tumble in All Segments


Net results for the quarter swung to a $2,091,000 loss against income of $3,764,000 in the prior year as sales dipped 27% to 83,728,000 from $114,933,000. Both domestic and international sales fell at the same rate, tallying $46.7 million and $37.1 million, respectively. Outdoor segment sales were off 24% at $40.1 million as destocking efforts continued at retail partners in North America and Europe.
