Canada Goose Plans to Double Owned-Store Fleet


Store productivity and protecting margins remains at the core of the brand’s shift to DTC, GOOS laid out at the Raymond James conference, alongside the paring down of wholesale accounts to boost full-price selling and brand image. Over the long term, the company is targeting a fleet of 130-150 owned stores, with the count currently at 68. The present priority, however, remains with organic growth over store expansion, with expected store productivity standing at C$4,000 per square feet.
