Boa and Primaloft Improve for Compass Diversified in Q4


The two brands posted double-digit revenue growth and bottom-line improvements for Compass Diversified in the final quarter, while 5.11 and Velocity Outdoor struggled to finish the year. Revenues at 5.11, CODI’s largest brand in the active space, dropped 2% to $144,768,000 from $147,394,000, and segment income tumbled 79% to $2,040,000 from $9,840,000. The bottom line was hit by a $12 million writedown on old inventory due to PFAS regulations.
