Beyond Yoga Hit by Impairment Charge
Beyond parent Levi Strauss wrote down its investment in the yoga brand in Q4, recording a $90.2 million impairment charge composed of a $75.4 million goodwill impairment and a $14.8 million impairment of the trademark intangible asset. On its earnings call, Levi’s also announced plans to cut about 15% of its global corporate workforce in the first half of 2023, but did not specify any impact on Beyond.
