Back-to-School Shoppers Seek Value, Occasions, Survey Finds
Value being top-of-mind for consumers is becoming a familiar refrain for Back-to-School 2025, as an ICSC survey found 90% of respondents say promotions will influence their purchases throughout the season. The commercial real estate and retail trade group found that 46% of shoppers plan their spending around specific promotions, citing Target Circle Week, Amazon Prime Day, Walmart Deals, and Labor Day sales.
