American Outdoor Brands Hit by Order Timing


Suffering from erratic orders from retailers and the aftereffect of FQ4’s tariff-driven pull-forward, AOUT’s net loss nearly tripled to $6,829,000 from a loss of $2,365,000 as revenues plummeted 29% to $29,702,000 from $41,643,000 in the first quarter ended July 31. Sales to the e-commerce channel fell 35% to $10.7 million, with almost the entire shortfall due to Amazon. Traditional channel sales dropped 24% to $19.0 million.
