American Outdoor Brands Cuts Loss to Start FY27


Net loss narrowed 78% to $1,528,000 from $6,829,000 for the fiscal first quarter ended July 31 as net sales jumped 25% to $37,254,000 from $29,702,000, or up 4% when backing out a $6.0 million pull-forward in orders from FQ1 ‘26 into FQ4 ‘25. Domestic sales were up 25% while International increased 33% on higher sales in Canada and Europe. Both Shooting Sports and Outdoor Lifestyle posted gains, up 15% and 34%, respectively, supported by higher sales to the AOUT’s largest mass retailer and e-commerce retailer.
