Amer Sports Boosted by Arc’teryx in Q2
Nearing breakeven in the second quarter, AS’ net loss was down 98% to $1.8 million from $97.0 million on revenue that increased 16% to $994.0 million for the second quarter, helped by lower financial costs and a $51.9 million tax benefit. Direct-to-consumer led gains with 40% growth to $449 million, which saw Arc-teryx also go +40% within the channel. Wholesale was up 2% to $545 million, benefitting from some orders shifting out of Q3.
