AlixPartners Finds Nike Tops Sentiment Index
The Swoosh continues to hold sway across generations despite pressure from upstarts in athletic footwear, according to AlixPartners’ first Consumer Sentiment Index in 15 years. The 2024 edition surveyed 9,000 consumers in July, finding the top players in Outdoor & Active were Columbia, followed by Nike and Adidas. Nike led Active Footwear, with Adidas second and New Balance third. The Fashion Footwear category saw some activewear crossover, with Crocs in the top spot followed by Vans and Clarks.
