Gun Imports, Exports Down in July
Firearms imports declined for the seventh consecutive month, according to ITC data compiled by the NSSF, with handguns inching down 2% in July to 338,239 units, including a 4% drop in pistol imports to 300,974 units, while revolvers climbed 20% to 37,265 units. Rifle imports didn’t fare much better, falling 15% to 89,179 units and shotgun imports slipped 4% to 111,829 units. In ammunition, other cartridge imports fell off 18% to 293.5 million units ...
