Compass Diversified Reports Q1, Sells Crosman


CODI’s sporting goods brands posted mixed results in the first quarter, with 5.11 Tactical and Boa outperforming, but PrimaLoft and Velocity Outdoor continuing to struggle. Revenues at 5.11 inched higher to $124,974,000 from $124,452,000, and segment profits increased 6% to $8,167,000 from $7,670,000. Solid growth in the professional channel offset weakness in direct-to-consumer due to soft market demand and unspecified “self-induced challenges” which have since been corrected.
