Garmin Fitness, Outdoor Gains Momentum in Q4


Fitness sales for the fourth quarter were up 22% to $412,076,000 from $336,553,000 with growth in all categories, led by strong wearables demand. Lower shipping costs and inventory normalization helped translate the sales increase to a 132% jump in operating income to $92,550,000 from $39,844,000. For full year, segment sales improved 21% to $1,344,637,000 over $1,109,419,000, with operating income more than doubling to $232,201,000 from $104,738,000.
