Firearm Imports Down Again in March


Firearms imports were down double-digits for the third consecutive month, according to ITC data compiled by the NSSF, declining 31% in Mar. to 271,144 units, including a 31% drop in pistol imports to 247,559, while revolvers were 36% lower at 23,585 units. Overall, handgun imports ticked down 28% in the first quarter. Rifle imports were flat at 97,241 units, while shotgun imports fared better, rising 11% to 86,192.
