Fourth quarter results benefitted from an extra week, but sales and profits both handily exceeded expectations, including an 8% jump in revenues to $3,876,171,000 from $3,596,713,000 and net income that was 26% higher at $296,433,000 from $235,621,000. Comp store sales improved 2.8%, and the top line was an all-time sales record for DKS, even excluding the extra week, which added about $170.2 million in sales and $15.8 million in net income.
