Bell Sports is recalling about 4,825 Bell Soquel youth helmets because the strap anchor can become dislodged from the helmet when sufficient force is applied. Owners should contact Bell Sports for a refund, after destroying the helmet by cutting off the straps and uploading photos of the helmet with the straps cut. The recalled helmets were sold through Fred Meyer, Walmart and other stores nationwide, and online at Amazon from Jan. 2017 through Jan. 2024 for between $25 and $50.
