Warm weather and lack of snow in BGFV’s west coast markets were blamed for the weaker than expected results, with the top line down 18% to $196.3 million from $238.3 million in Q4, and comps down by a similar amount. Sales of winter-related products plunged 40%, while other categories were off about 10%, in line with expectations.
