Net income rocketed up nearly eightfold to $402,423,000 in the final quarter, helped by a $338 million tax benefit, from $53,281,000 last year, on revenues that were 24% higher at $1,647,881,000 against $1,324,711,000.
Net income in the final quarter was $60,033,000 against a loss of $332,164,000 last year that included a huge inventory writedown, as revenues grew by 4% to $1,752,349,000 from $1,689,145,000.
Net income improved 64% to $156,961,000 in the fourth quarter from $95,756,000, on 23% higher revenues of $1,129,720,000 up from $915,623,000, boosted by a 33% gain in direct-to-consumer sales to $625.2 million, or 55% of the total.
Net income was 9% lower at $232,943,000 against $255,536,000 in the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, despite 10% revenue growth to $1,187,752,000 from $1,077,759,000 in the seasonally important quarter for DECK.
Net income grew 50% to $118,137,000 in the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 26, from $78,879,000 the year before, on revenues that were up 38% to $794,654,000 from $574,679,000.
Net income of $52,626,000 was up 19% over $44,413,000 on revenue that increased 9% to $391,149,000 from $357,772,000, driven by the launch of the latest flagship model, the Hero10 Black.
