Big Foot will pay $750 million for Hispanic market-focused retailer WSS, which operates 93 off-mall stores in CA, TX, AZ and NV, and $360 million plus an earnout for Japanese streetwear brand and sneaker retailer Atmos and its 49 stores.
The bottom line returned to profit in the second quarter, with net income of $40,684,000 against a loss last year of $50,707,000, as revenues grew 79% to $566,370,000 from $316,611,000, recovering from a very difficult quarter for the company in 2020.
Net income was $1,840,000 for the second quarter against a loss of $2,743,000 last year, on revenues that jumped 144% to $73,309,000 from $30,014,000, benefitting from growth at Black Diamond and Sierra and incremental sales from Barnes Bullets.
Net income attributable to shareholders rebounded to IDR 99,169 million ($6.9 mm) in the second quarter from a loss of IDR 149,394 million last year, on 143% higher revenues of IDR 1,593,235 million ($110.6 mm) up from IDR 654,872 million, as the Indonesian retailer lapped the worst quarter of the pandemic.
The bottom line more that doubled in the second quarter to BRL 105.6 million ($19.9 mm) from BRL 44.5 million as revenues grew by 71% to BRL 1,095.30 million ($206.9 mm) from BRL 639.1 million.
