Columbia Raises Guidance after Record Q2


The bottom line returned to profit in the second quarter, with net income of $40,684,000 against a loss last year of $50,707,000, as revenues grew 79% to $566,370,000 from $316,611,000, recovering from a very difficult quarter for the company in 2020. Both top and bottom lines also handily beat 2019’s results by 8% and 77%, respectively, with all four brands surpassing Q2 2019 sales. Wholesale led the way with an 89% increase to $302.3 million, while direct-to-consumer grew a solid 69% to $264.1 million, with stores up 149% and e-commerce up 5%.
